It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pets plants, small objects.

The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is higher than any vacuum we've tested so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

In addition to this it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be used for rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means that you can put it away and forget about it, only having to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop- and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before beginning to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a robust and well-rounded product with the only downside being that it's costly. Its sheer number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this model for those who can afford its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum. Its premium price tag is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my testing it performed well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as a strong dose cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry its mop pads for you. It also features an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tried and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station, dustbag, and water tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. The mop pads sold separately will require replacement every few months.

With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're looking to save money I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to remember that even the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can buy however, its price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a wish than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to get rid of messes and clean dirt off your floors. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery that can be used for mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle avoidance. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans itself and makes it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro removes the dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked by the heater elements of the tank and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank onboard holds plenty of water, and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do other robotic vacuums and mops. It must be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task by cleaning the dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to choose to use this feature, you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own cleaning products.

Like many robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map a area and was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests however this could be rectified as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum however it has several impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start an entire map and clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

The Qrevo did well in our tests, like the other Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system is reliable, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized fashion. Its "Normal" pathing settings cover the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

This machine has one major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you use the mopping feature of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces of debris and dust left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help the robot get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
